Quickly identify the right varistor for your application. Use the four-step methodology below, then compare specifications across our entire MOV product family.
Why Selection Matters
Selecting the proper metal-oxide varistor is the difference between a circuit that survives a 6 kV surge and one that fails on the production line. Voltage rating, surge current capability, energy absorption, and response time each play a distinct role — and overspec drives cost, while underspec drives field failures.
Varistor Specifications
All ratings are typical at 25°C unless otherwise noted. Clamping voltage measured with 8/20 µs standard current wave. Contact us for full datasheets, custom values, or qualification samples.
Resistor Specifications
Two construction families: Glazed wirewound for general power control and Inductive windings for high-pulse / load-bank duty. All ratings are typical at 25°C unless otherwise noted. Tolerance, resistance, and TCR values available on request.
Send us your operating voltage, surge current, and energy requirements — our engineers will recommend a part number within one business day.
